American Flags Fly Over NJ Turnpike
Almost 100 area patriots gathered in Robbinsville on September 11 in remembrance of those lost in the 2001 terrorist attack on our nation and to replace the American Flag that the NJ Turnpike Authority had recently removed from an overpass in the Township. The flag has donned that overpass and several others in the 19 years since the attack.
Congressman Chris Smith joined Mayor David Fried and members of Robbinsville PBA #334, the sponsors of the event, in a celebration of patriotism and resilience.
Thank you to all who came out and supported us in paying respect to the American Flag and all it represents. Local 344 will continue to maintain and pay respect to the flag!
