Hibell Calls Shenanigans On Walsh Abusing Her Board of Education Post, Exploiting Kids

Middletown Township Committeeman Rich Hibell accused his Democrat opponent, Board of Education member Danielle Walsh, of abusing her position of on the BOE by officially recognizing her campaign volunteers for academic acheivement and for the widespread use of photos of Middletown school children for political purposes without their parents permission.

“Danielle Walsh should not be using her position on the School Board to give out awards to her campaign volunteers,” Hibell wrote on facebook. “It is legally, morally and ethically wrong. Her campaign site is filled with pictures inside schools of children who do not deserve to be politicized. I am calling on Ms. Walsh to immediately remove all photos of children inside schools taken without parental consent and I will seek an opinion with the ethics commission.”

Hibell and Walsh are facing each other, head to head, in the election to complete the final year of Freeholder Gerry Scharfenberger’s term on the Township Committee.  Scharfenberger resigned from the committee in February after being tapped to fill the Freeholder vacancy created by Serena DiMaso’s election to the State Assembly.

    The fact that she is on the board of ed and is part of the problem in this state with out-of-control spending, should be enough for voters to run for the hills from her

    to start changing one of our better- run ( and largest) towns. We need to hold Middletown, as many local seats as we can, and the county. Last thing we need is to become yet another Hudson, Passaic, Middlesex, you know the drill..

    I’ll take the leadership in Middletown over mine any day of the week. Liberal Democrats destroy everything they touch. Wasn’t Middletown named the safest place in New Jersey? We don’t need Hudson County in Monmouth

    Hell yes!! Every time I go to a friend or relative who lives there I am envious. Anywhere that liberal Democrats get their hooks into is a disaster. I would rather live in Monmouth County than any other County in this state. Look at what Democrats have done to Hudson County, Essex County, Passaic County, you name it they touch it, it’s ruined. The Democrats have their eye on Middletown so governor Murphy can have locals do his bidding here.

    with all due respect sir, you are high as hell. I could rattle off the litany of reasons where QOL is better in Marlboro, but there is no point, you are committed to your point of view. However, if you are a homeowner in Marlboro I am positive you could sell your property and move to certain sections of Middletown.
