Gopal calls Trump supporters sneaky and underhanded
State Senator Vin Gopal referred to supporters of President Donald Trump as “sneaky and underhanded” in an email to Monmouth County Democrats today, according to a report at NewJerseyGlobe.com .
“This type of sneakiness and underhandedness is something I would expect to see from Trump supporters or the far-right, not someone who claims they are acting in good faith to build the Democratic Party,” said Gopal.
Gopal was referring to Jennifer Fluharty, a self-proclaimed nasty woman, who is supporting former Asbury Park councilman Jim Keady for the Democrat nomination to lose to Congressman Chris Smith in November.
Gopal supports his former tenant, Josh Welle, for the nomination to lose to Smith.
The senator says Fluharty is Trumpian because she secretly recorded a meeting Gopal, Monmouth Dem Chairman David Brown and Keady supporters to discuss the already completed Monmouth Dem nominating process for CD-4.
Fluharty said “Ew. No,” when MMM offered to publish the recording.
Senator/ actual Chairman: more resorting to insults- thought it was called a “primary,” so that people of both parties might occasionally have a choice, on whom they might want to run..
Sure, it’s a primary but the line winner 99.9% of the time wins as Jim saw in Ocean when Lavergne had the line in Burlington and Jim had it in Ocean Burlington outvotes Ocean 2 to 1 and that’s just what Jim got. You can spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on Jims campaign but the result will still be the same only worse this time since Jim has NO LINE. It only divides us, same as Jim did in 2016 in his Congressional run and it sucks money from Welles also. Not that Jim is thinking about that at all.
Jim, it really is time to sit down and help Welles defeat our GOP opponent or is your ego sooooo big you think you’ll really win. 2016 wasn’t enough for you?
