No Joke: Ciattarelli campaign fields primary challenge to Burry and Impreveduto for Freeholder nominations

Bernie Dowd is an equine veterinarian and a candidate for freeholder

Freeholder Director Lillian Burry and Holmdel Deputy Mayor Pat Impreveduto will face a primary challenge on June 6 for the Republican nominations for Monmouth County Freeholder.

The gubernatorial campaign of Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli recruited Dr. Bernard Dowd, DVM, a equine veterinarian who lives in Oceanport and Susan Ellen Metz of Middletown to run against the Monmouth GOP endorsed candidates.

Dowd has served on the Monmouth Park Task Force in Oceanport.

the good ol’ American spirit of competition, even in our own party, when, other than for one’s ego, it serves no practical purpose but to allow for further confusion and division, in an already weakened and fragmented organization..what a tough year this seems to be shaping up to be.

  2. Yup - it's time said at 3:22 pm on April 5th, 2017:

If this is really true (I was hoodwinked on 4/1) then MC conservatives can finally say goodby to Lillian. Yup – it’s time. We need new leadership in the Freeholders office. Burry has to go.
