Cohen and McNaboe seek reelection to Manalapan Township Committee

Susan Unger Cohen and Jack McNaboe are running for reelection to the Manalapan Township Committee, according to a press release from Manalapan GOP Chairman Glen Mendez.

Cohen, the Township’s mayor, has served on the governing body since 2007, with the exception of 2011 when she took a year off for family reasons. She was also mayor in 2012 and 2013 and is credited with leading the Township through Superstorm Sandy.

McNaboe was appointed to the committee to fill a vacancy in 2013.  He was elected to complete the term he was appointed to and was elected to his own full term in 2014.   The current Deputy Mayor, McNaboe was also served as mayor.  He has been a member of the Planning Board for 10 years.

“There could not be two harder working individuals as candidates this year,” Mendez said.  “Susan and Jack embody everything that you want in your local government officials; intensely dedicated, constantly striving to make themselves better & Manalapan an even greater place to live. They have a strong record of proven abilities and their dedication is unwavering. It makes me feel that the future of Manalapan is in safe hands with Susan & Jack at the helm”.

the gentleman, but I think Mrs. Cohen is among the top public servants, in this county. She loves her town, and has done a great job there for many years, and now, serving as a vice chair of the county GOP for two chairmen, who were smart to pick her. I believe she is eminently qualified, with the right amount of service and good record, and several electoral victories, to be our next freeholder, should Mrs. DiMaso be elected to the assembly in November, and leave Freehold, next January.
