Why such a low approval rating. He’s a very intelligent man. I heard he’s done good for my home state (birthplace). Is it because he’s tough and will not bow to handouts! That he believes in personal responsibility?
It’s because he has led NJ to 9 credit down grades. Taken care of his friends by giving them jobs with six-figure salaries that they are not qualified for. While US Attorney, the DOJ came out with a report that his largess with US taxpayers exceeded the expectations of the US government. His bill was always over the limit the government told him to stay within. Something he did with impunity with the feds and carried over to this state.
His phony and exculpatory Mastro Report regading Bridgegate– a firm he picked, cost the taxpayers in excess of 25 million dollars. Yet this firm NEVER interviewed the key principals, and the firm refuses to release the report despite public financing.
These are just some aspects of the low approval rating, since you seem to be scratching your head why.
