    Correction in 1972 gas was closer to 30-35 cents per gallon in NJ. Hell in NY it was still under 40 cents per gallon until the 1973 embargo. The rise in gas prices started in late 1973.

    Good article. Except I do not agree that it was a good time for anyone in 1972 with Democrat Case (AKA “Republican”) in DC. I was proud to help Jeff Bell get him out of there at that time and I would do it again if Case ever decided to attempt a re-incarnation.

    You can’t improve the problem of allowing a mob to steal money from citizens by giving it a different name and hiding the truth.
