Sabato’s analysis is completely inaccurate and ridiculous. If the GOP ran a moderate candidate, i.e. Kean, Bramnick, Kyrillos, etc. they would never had gone after Booker the way Lonegan has.

There’s a reason why no moderate ran in the first place, they knew they had no shot against Booker.

Only Steve’s campaign style and conservative stances on the issues has made this race tight.

If Steve’s admirable, comparative, against -all -odds campaign did nothing else, it has proved that you have to show an actual DIFFERENCE, a contrast in the views and styles- it is how we finally got Reagan to take us out of the Carter malaise.. Am sick to death of these mealy- mouthed, self-agendized,”safe”lib Rep’s, who cave at the first tough battle, and stand for nothing that gets us back to being the Constitutional Republic we were/ are supposed to be! If Steve doesn’t make it, we need to give him another shot, to watch this phony Booker the whole year, and count and track every sell-out, tax and spend vote he casts, then take it to him again,in 2014! If we lose that one, the USA is over..
