Judge Escandon no longer ruling on divorces.
Multiple divorce litigants with cases before Judge Paul X. Escandon have told MMM that they have been informed by Monmouth County Court personnel that Escandon will no longer be hearing their cases.
Judge Lawrence M. Lawson, the Assignment Judge of the Monmouth County Vicinage, confirmed the change in Escandon’s assignment.
Escandon will be hearing non-matrimonial cases, those of unmarried couples with children and/or property who need the Court’s involvement to resolve their differences and post-divorce cases that he currently has, according to Lawson. All family court judges will hear post divorce matters that are 12 months old or more.
Lawson said that the change is the result of his reassigning Judges to cope with the Court’s four vacancies and the temporary elevation of Judge Michael Guadagno to the Appeals Court.
A group of thirty women lead by former Long Branch resident Rachel Alintoff have been fighting get to Escandon recused from their cases and removed from the bench for several months due to what they say is a pattern of improper and illegal rulings regarding custody and support in favor of their wealthy estranged husbands. There complaints have ranged from revoking custody without a hearing to emanicipating a disabled teenager in order to void child support.
Alintoff brought her plight to Governor Chris Christie’s attention at a Town Hall meeting in Garfield on May 2. Since then the Advisory Committee on Judical Conduct has initiated an investigation into Escandon’s rulings based on Alintoff’s complaints and those of at least ten other women and one man.

Judge Lawson has made sure that only children whose parents are in post divorce or non-marriage custody disputes will be abused in Judge Escandon’s court. Does Judge Lawson want half credit? Oh, I forgot, Judge Lawson wants no credit because he denies that this is anything more than a reshuffling of resources. Rediculous. Every attorney, judge, politician, member of the press and litigant in Monmouth County and beyond knows that Escandon’s days on the bench are numbered and this move is the beginning of the end. Assignment Judge Lawrence Lawson is more concerned with perception (not being pushed around by a bunch of girls) than he is with seeing justice done. There’s no reason why Lawson’s career can’t go in the tank right along with his buddy Escandon.
Alitnoff’s terror tactics won’t prevail. Eventually she will need to get a job and only have to consider her own self to blame. She’s looking for a free ride, a scapegoat and she won’t get it. All Judge Escandon did was to apply tough love and for that he has been slandered and dragged through the mud.
To the brilliant poster before me. It is the job of the judge to apply the law and rule in favor of the best interest of the child. God already applied tough love by saddling her with a jerk for a husband that can’t keep a vow and is no better than his own father.
The honest will not shed a tear for Escandon.
To all those that will continue to have your cases heard under Escandon request your adjournments and continuances and put your cases off as long as possible. Delay, delay, delay, for soon he will be off the bench.
I say bravo to Ms Alintoff and to the women who are fighting not only their ex-husbands, but also an unscrupulous and unethical judge. Finally, today there is some justice in the court system! And to whomever posted as “defend good judges,”: you obviously know NOTHING about Ms Alintoff or her case.

This is a day of victory for not only Rachel , but for every other women and child for what this judge has done. It also prevents anymore harmful rulings for other women. I just heard from a women who went before judge Escandon last week that she received her paperwork finally today and she will finally be getting her well deserved child support . This judge had me arrrested and thrown in jail. He is corrupt and evil…..
I want to thank Rachel and all the other women that decided to fight the fight. Divorce isn’t easy and there are no winners only losers, so if you have a judge that abuses his power then him/her aren’t exempt to the consequences. What “Defend Good Judges” isn’t quite understanding is that he performed criminal acts on the bench. Gave orders and disobeyed laws that he is suppose to govern. “Defend Good Judges” you are ill informed on the specifics and passing judgement. I hope what has happened to us never happens to you or a family member.
I personally want to thank Rachel and the other women myself. I joined in a month ago and helped as well, but Rachel girl thanks to you we can all sleep with some peace now.
Married to a mobster and taking blood money for the duration of her marriage and she’s not in jail? The world is on its head when a judge sees exactly what is going on, refuses to turn a blind eye, and then is crucified all over the internet by one lazy woman who lost out on the alimony gravy train. I know this whole episode takes on the air of insanity when a liberal freeloader (Alitnoff and her crony) points to the New York Post as the paragon of justice and virtue.

“It’s time” you seem to be very angry do you have a vested interest in these cases. The last 10 months or so we’ve ask the court house to post the judge’s cases publicly, we were denied knowing that we are 30 women being abused by the same judge is horrifying. Having a judge removed from the bench is impossible without proof and obviously Judge Lawson felt that the acquisitions held some merit to open and investigation. Like I stated before Judge Escandon is an Officer of the court and is governed to apply the laws not make up his own.

I have court records of my own that I have summitted to the ACJC that shows total curruption. Post? No…..they are now with the ACJC to help support my case against Judge Escandon. One of the daughters of the mothers featured in the post has come out publicly and said that her mother is insane and that the judge got it right. Some women complain to the papers and that makes them right??? They should do a story on this woman’s daughter…they should be ashamed of themselves.
The records are coming. You’ll have to be patient because after 2 months of delay the court is now suggesting giving the 3000-4000 motions over to the public at a rate of 20 a week. These women are working against an old boys network the likes of which I thought only existed in New Orleans and Chicago. The entire State of New Jersey should be ashamed out how this State is run. Are you claiming that this Judge made bad decisions on 3000-4000 thousand motions? You make zero sense. How did this Judge discriminate toward YOU. All parties have copies of the Motions that “they” filed or had filed against them. Show me how this Judge discriminated against you please.
I’m not one of the woman, but answering your questions is probably not a priority for any of them. They’re busy working with the ACJC, FBI and State Senators, all of whom have found what Judge Escandon has done to be of concern to say the least.
The priorities of “these women” isn’t to cooperate with sham investigations, but rather post slander after slander all over the internet. Going, forward, the best use of time would be for these fat, deadbeat, lazy women to get a job and make a life for themselves. I find it fascinating that these collective dead beats have the energy to post lie after lie all over the internet, but do not have time to post a resume.

Your comments are foolish and unimformed. You are rallying behind a judge who ignores laws, rules and procedures and violates rights of citizens. You may be on the winning end this time, but who knows what the result will be next time you go before a judge under the current conditions, whereby judges exert absolute power over the lives of citizens.
I can assure you that the women I have met are intelligent, loving and caring women who sacrificed their own lives to care for their children, often at the request of their husbands. As someone who worked two jobs to put myself through college and become a successful professional, I am hardly a freeloader or deadbeat. It was a difficult decision to put my career aside to care for my children, but I chose my children, because it was best for my children. Even more difficult is the struggle to reenter the workforce and attempt to resume a career, amidst relentless legal/financial harassment from an abusive ex-husband, facilitated by a predisposed judge.
We stand behind our claims because they are true, and more importantly because we are fighting for the lives and futures of our children. Do not insult, underestimate or deny a mother’s love for her child. This is our fight and what fuels us.

Enough Already! I’ve been sitting back watching as well as being silent for too long. This again was brought to my attention and now I feel that this needs to be addressed!
1. I am neither rich, abusive nor an incompetent father/husband as the title in your article suggests, just the better parent. Ask the multiple therapists that have evaluated our family. My son is “Not” dealing! All of these accusations that my soon to be ex-wife is conjuring up are complete fabrications for her benefit of trying to get back at me and the immediate family that she is no longer apart of. Understand, that she is just merely jumping on the bandwagon and will destroy any credibility that you and the rest of the group may have, because she is a complete fraud. She is merely fabricating stories to fit into the group.
2. You should really think about your direct source of information, as “She is a Liar, & a criminal.” She is the one that was removed from the house due to her own criminal acts, and do not be mislead or fooled, this is not the first time! If you’d like me to make these records public, then I will not hesitate! So you should really do a better job at obtaining the full story before you defame my character and “most importantly the character of my young innocent sons” any further. As you know the truth cannot be erased! And by the way, Judge Escandon nor the Family Courts did not have anything to do with where she is currently at right now.
3. For a mother who pretends to be living and acting for the benefits of her children, trying to get her son arrested on false charges would be the complete opposite. What kind of loving mother goes around telling neighbors, etc. that her son is a drug addict? Then when he takes a mandatory comprehensive drug test “Every substance he is tested for comes back Negative!” What type of loving mother tells a therapist in front of her son multiple times, that she doesn’t care for about him and only cares about the younger son? What type of mother chooses not to pay her court ordered (again, “Not” by Judge Escandon) child support obligations? Definitely not a mother who has their sons’ interest at heart! At the end of the day, her current situation is based solely on her own doing! If she really wanted overnights with her children she would have satisfied the court ordered anger management therapy sessions, which btw, was “not” ordered by Judge Escandon 1 year ago. So think about it that, who’s interest is she really after?
4. She has made “False criminal claims” against me, which forced me to spend money unnecessarily to prove my innocence, and when she was subpoena to testify on those charges “that she brought against me”… she never showed up to court. And if she had shown up she would have perjured herself. So her only intent was to try and bankrupt me. Again, how is that in the best interest of the children when they are in my care?
Note: with all of her failed attempts I still have no criminal record due to the truth!
Again, the group’s cases may be credible, but her fraudulent acts even up until this day, will prove to be a detriment to your efforts. If this continues, I will be forced to released documents, videos, & photos based on the individual that will possibly hinder your whole movement!

These are such lies about paul escandon. He is very very honest and fair. The women that lost their children probably couldn’t support them. My brother in law ( a lawyer) told me about a facebook page that said remove judge escandon. My brother in law who went in front of judge escandon said he is very very fair. so I post on their page and the idiot that runs the page attacked me by saying I should just sportsbet in allenhurst. Little does that idiot know I never lived in allenhurst and I havent sportsbet in 20 years. Then they blocked me Cowards
please send a good attorney to springfield ohio. we have a carbon copy of judge escandon, judge thomas capper in clark county ohio. the problem around here is no attorney in the area will challenge him (for fear of retaliation,i’m guessing). my wife has been battling corruption for 10 plus years. we even had a lady take her young daughter and her own life after capper’s repeated abuse….anyone who can help??
Judge Escandon is NOT, let me repeat, NOT an honest ethical Judge! I am before him on a case that has nothing to do with divorce and he has manipulated facts and protected unethical and lying officials. It’s a “good ole boys” network of criminals in suits and robes!
