Just A Little White Oversight

Anna’s Little campaign has finally addressed the missing FEC paperwork.

Politickernj reports that a campaign volunteer told them that the paperwork had been filed nine months ago and that a paperwork backlog at the FEC was to blame.  A spokesperson for the FEC denied there was a backlog and said that everything filed by Little had been processed by the agency.

Finally, Rob Little, the former mayor’s husband, admitted to Politickernj that the required paperwork for her congressional campaign has not been filed.

A spokesperson for the campaign said the failure to file the required paperwork was an oversight that would be corrected immediately and Rob Little said it would be filed before Tuesday’s primary, according to Politickernj.

    Oversight, Oversight?

How can we trust Anna Little when she didn’t file the required paperwork?

And how long has MMM been saying that she didn’t file?

Her campaign should have corrected that oversight immediately upon MMM revealing that fact.

That is a very serious campaign problem.

Howo does someone expect to be elected to congress and handle all the responsibilties that come with it, and expect people to trust them to do so, when they cant do the simplest things like file the proper paperwork?
Or does anyone really believe that this was all some kind of mistake or oversight?

This sounds as bad as Little Timmy Geitner not filing his income taxes. Why isn’t Cullari going after this?

Like I said, I ain’t seen so many knuckle heads gathered in one place since Obama’s inauguration. Every single one of you know that she’s competent. How would you know this? Because you all worked for her two years ago.

  6. So Competent Pony said at 11:31 pm on May 30th, 2012:

That she didn’t see that her campaign filings were in order, so competent that she didn’t know what she was running for.

If she was so competent, why did a large number of her 2010 endorsers desert her this time around?

If you run for Federal Office the paperwork is overwhelming. It requires you to reveal your every penny. FEC, US Senate or US House, State of NJ Elections, IRS, NJ Treasury. So all you commenting how can you trust someone if they bungled this mess, you try it. Not saying Little is or is not competent, but point out the naysayers in this thread are full of puff and lacking knowledge. We are fighting this tangle that prevents grass roots from getting into office and thankfully there are folks willing to take that challenge on.

Bottom line for Little is the incompetence may be not in the filings but in the staffing and getting a competent person to handle all of this. As a candidate it is impossible to do it and be a candidate too.

  8. @GOP FAILED said at 9:43 am on May 31st, 2012:

Ok, so she was incompetent for failing to find good people. What’s that say about her ability to staff a Congressional office.

Besides, she has been here before with her run in 2010. Sorry, flawed excuses don’t pass the BS detector.

Anna C. Little, Esq Sued for Advising Legal Clients to Pay Illegal Workers in Cash

A New Jersey small business that hired Anna Little to assist its immigrant employees in obtaining legal work status has charged the congressional candidate with failure to perform the work she was hired to do and with advising the company to pay the undocumented workers in cash.

In a lawsuit filed in May of 2010, Gerard and Dawn Ferrante and their company, American Brickface and Stucco Co, Inc., claim that they hired Little to provide legal services to their undocumented workers. Little failed to perform the work “quickly and promptly” as she promised and then advised her client to pay the illegal workers in cash, resulting in massive penalties from the IRS and other legal problems for the Ferrantes and their company.

A judgment has been entered against Little’s firm.

Gerard Ferrante, And Dawn Ferrante, his wife, American Brickface & Stucco, Co., Inc. v. Anna C. Little, Esq, An Attorney at Law of the State of New Jersey; Anna C. Little, Esq., LLC; Phillip E. Di Giovanni, Esq, Tunney & Little, LLC; Mark D. Barry, 2010

“13. Little led Ferrante to believe that the process to obtain legal residence status for the laborer employees would be accomplished quickly and promptly. As the employees did not have Social Security numbers or Tax Identification numbers, Little advised Ferrante to pay the laborer employees in cash.

    14. The process of obtaining legal residence status for the laborer employee’s dragged on for years, with Little continually assuring Ferrante that she was diligently pursuing obtaining legal residence status for the employee.

    16. Little knew or should have known that the advice to Ferrante and American Brickface to pay the employee laborers in cash subjected Gerard Ferrante and American Brickface to civil and criminal liability. Little failed to advice or warns Gerard Ferrane of the risks associated with paying the employee laborers in cash.”

“Unfortunately for the Middlesex Republican Party and Little supporters, this information was not released sooner. Former Freeholder, Mayor and attorney who touts herself as a “TEA Party Conservative” is encouraging business owners to pay illegal workers in cash. This is a despicable act on Mrs. Little part as a so-called conservative and attorney.”

“Not only are her actions illegal and completely unethical, but they are exactly what conservatives fight against every day. So many of our own Americans have been out of work and this is the advice she gives her clients? If Anna C. Little, Esq was unable to fulfill her duties as an attorney then the right thing to do would have been to hand her case to someone else; certainly not advise her clients to break the law to accommodate her needs.” CEO, Cullari for Congress, Kelly Ann Hart said.

The following from Anna Little’s Congressional Site: http://annalittleforsenate.com/issuesimmigration

“Anna would not support legislation that grants “amnesty”.

But while they are here illegally she will support business owners paying illegals in cash to avoid paying taxes.

How sad that Rob Little has to act as spokeperson for his politician wife. He is a nice guy put in an untenable situation. Anna please have the courage to answer your critics yourself. Leaders do not hide and let others take the heat for their mistakes. It is time to put on your big girl pants.
