Romney Wins in Michigan and Arizona

With 74% of the votes reported, FoxNews has projected that Mitt Romney has won the Michigan GOP presidential primary with 41% of the vote.  Former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum came in second with 37%, Texas Congressman Ron Paul was third with 12%.  Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, who did not campaign in the state, earned 7% of the vote.

Fox called the Arizonia primary for Romney earlier this evening based upon exit polling.

Probably good news for the R’s since Santorum has gone off the cliff in terms of having future appeal to independent and moderate R voters which would be needed to win a general election.

Santorum hurt himself by trying to jump on democrat party efforts to have dems vote in the Republican primary.

Imagine, he used a robocall to democrats saying they should vote for him because Romney was against all of the government bailouts.

And he claims to be a conservative???

WOULD SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS TO BARBARA AND THE BAYSHORE TEA PARTY?

Rick is a GREAT Social Conservative, but he is far from a Fiscal Conservative and I thought THAT’S what the Tea Party was about.

Remember folks, Rick voted to increase the debt ceiling 5 times and he voted for numerous big ticket big government bills.

And, correct me if I am wrong, Rick is against Right To Work isn’t he; another goal of the Tea Party.

    SO, RIDDLE ME THIS?

Why is the Bayshore Tea Party supporting Santorum if he really isn’t a fiscal conservative? Strange

.. I am still holding out for the very longshot.. if only people would close their minds to the horrid media tripe, and LISTEN/READ what the man would actually DO, to try and even begin to get us back on track..he is spot-on, with the historical context, and basis for the actions needed: especially pertaining to getting our own energy, not years from now, but right now!.. and, no more apologies for this country, but demanding respect, and, no aid for anybody who hates us, to name a few….I know well the chance is slim, but I still pray for a miracle, before June..and, yes, have already signed up to try and get a few folks to pay attention, before it’s too late!..
