Snooki Show Banned From Hoboken

Snooki won’t be cavorting along the Jersey shore of the Hudson River anytime soon.

The birthplace of the Chairman of the Board and baseball doesn’t have to worry about Snooki and JWoww filling the vacancy created by Jon Corzine’s departure, thanks to Mayor Dawn Zimmer telling MTV that a spinoff to the show that made Seaside Heights an international destination will not be filmed in her city, according to a report on NJ.com.

Well that’s great; another Big Government Democrat Mayor taking the position that Big Government should tell a Private Business where it can and can’t operate to make a profit. And now us Free-Market, Pro-Capitalism, Conservative Republicans can get together as one and really beat up those Liberal Democrats for overstepping their Constitutional authority and the People will rally behind us for standing up for Freedom and Liberty, ensuring a solid Republican base of support in urban North Jersey!

Or maybe the thought should simply be… ohh, good, now people outside of NJ won’t see that Seaside isn’t unique, other parts of the states are just as bad, or worse, holes for NYers to visit … but the first thought is slightly more optimistic and offers some hOpe for the non-pessimists among us, right?
