LD 13 State Senate challenger Leigh-Ann Bellew announced today that Dwayne Horner of Texas will lead her campaign against Senator Joe Kyrillos in the GOP primary.

Horner lead the Dallas area field operations for Texas Governor Rick Perry’s 2010 re-election primary campaign against U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison, according to a press release from the Bellew campaign.  He was named “one of the best field directors in Texas” by the Dallas Morning News.

More recently, Horner ran the field operations for Texas Congressman Roger Williams’ victorious 2012 campaign in the new 25th congressional district.

Looks like his resume is almost as padded as Bellew’s. What a joke.

Hornet go back to your progressively bad friends, you’re the real joke. Bellew has a good chance to defeat liberal Joe. Good ground game and now a professional campaign manager.

For Free. Bellew has NO chance to raise the kind of money needed to pay a consultant at this level.

To those leaving bitter, negative comments: One question, WHY? What has Leigh-Ann done to warrant this. She is a regular person, not part of the ruling elite machine and fighting to make things right. Either shut up, help or get out of the way.

  5. Bob English said at 5:44 pm on April 19th, 2013:

Rick Perry was doing just fine in the polls until he declared for President and started speaking…best advice to give him would have been not to take part in the primary debates and not to campaign….might have won the nomination by default.

She could hire Lee Atwater from the dead, Jim Baker or Karl Rove and it will not make a difference. And not being mean — just truthful.

We are commenting because Bellew is a fraud. She is no educator, she is no attorney. She took money from liberal shtmams package and thus can no.be.counted on as a fiscal conservative

She has no chance in the general

This might be the most important campaign import since Homeless Larry came from DC to run Little’s campaign

what’s his name, um- ah, help me now, will ya.

Will Bellew also support giving illegals the ability to go to school in NJ for less money than out of state US citizens, like Perry did? Sorry people, never heard of this Ms. Bellew. What has she accomplished? Nice, isn’t enough, nor is being just a woman enough. Kyrillos my vote.
