It’s official: No fans at Giants, Jets and Rutgers football games because of coronavirus

The Giants and Jets will play their 2020 home games at MetLife Stadium without fans, NJ Advance Media has learned, after Gov. Murphy told the teams that his statewide limit of 500 people at outdoor gatherings would apply to the local NFL teams.

Rutgers also will limit its crowd to below 500 spectators if a college football season takes place this fall, the university is set to announce, promising that “all safety precautions will be in place for those individuals who will be in attendance.” Those spectators are expected to be limited to the immediate family of players and coaches.The decisions,… Read the rest of this entry »

Super Celebration at MetLife Stadium, Tuesday at 3PM

Following the Canyon of Heroes parade in lower Manhattan, the New Jersey Super Bowl Champion Giants and Governor Chris Christie will rally at MetLife Stadium.  Admission and parking are free.

MetLife gates will open to the public at 2:15 PM.  The rally is scheduled to start at 3PM and last until 3:30. PM

Christie was a guest of Boomer and Carton on WFAN radio this morning.
