
Marvin Sanders
The New Jersey State Police posted an appeal for public help in locating Marvin Sanders, 37, of Shrewsbury Township. Sanders, who is known to hang out on Toms River and Manchester, is wanted for failure to register as a sex offender.
Sanders is a black male, 5’11”, and 195 pounds. He may also go by the name of Marven or Maurice.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Hamilton Criminal Investigation Office at 609-584-5000 ext. 5288. The State Police post on facebook had a typo in the phone number and in Sanders’ name.

Assemblywoman Serena DiMaso
The Joint Legislative Committee on Ethical Standards dismissed a complaint by Assembly Members Eric Houghtaling and Joann Downey against Assemblywoman Serena DiMaso today, finding that there was no probable cause for the Democrats complaint against their Republican colleague, according to reports on NewJerseyGlobe and APP.
“While this matter never stopped me from doing my job for the people of the 13th district, I’m glad its behind me,” DiMaso said to MMM in phone interview.

OCEAN TOWNSHIP- The Legal Aid Society of Monmouth County received a $5,000 grant from Investors Foundation to support the Society’s mission to act as a conduit between the indigent residents of Monmouth County and Pro Bono attorneys willing to accept the assignment.

The New Jersey Senate is expected to pass a bill to extend mortgage forbearance for victims of Superstorm Sandy today, Senator Declan O’Scanlon told MMM this morning. The current law that protects homeowners who continue to deal the the effects of the devastating October 2012 storm expires on July 1, as reported by the Asbury Park Press.
APP reports that hundreds of homeowners have been contacted by their banks seeking payments starting in July.

Marlboro Mayor Jon Hornik
Marlboro Township has been awarded a $95,842 Clean Communities Grant from the NJ Department of Environmental Protection, Mayor Jon Hornik announced this afternoon.
“We constantly strive to identify alternate sources of funding for critical needs, and parks and public spaces are essential to the quality of life in our Town,” said Mayor Hornik. “The Clean Communities grant allows us to dedicate additional resources to the maintenance of these areas.”
