Jade Glab, 19, of Belmar was crowned Miss New Jersey 2019 on Saturday night in Atlantic City and will represent the Garden State in the Miss America 2020 competition.

A former Miss New Jersey winner critically injured in a crash last week died this morning at Cooper University Hospital in Camden. Cara McCollum, 24, of Margate, died at 4:31 a.m. Monday, according to a Facebook group, “Prayers for Cara,” which has provided periodic updates about her condition.
