Project Homeless Connect 2015 that was originally scheduled for
Wednesday, January 28 has been rescheduled for Wednesday, February 4
On Wednesday, February 4, a team of volunteers and
County staff will be in Asbury Park, Freehold, Keansburg,
Long Branch, Neptune and Red Bank meeting with people
who are homeless or at risk of being homeless and
encouraging them to seek services and resources.
Christie endorses Rick Perry?

A facebook page that promoted Governor Chris Christie’s reelection in 2013 and is now linked to his presidential exploratory PAC posted a endorsement of former Texas Governor Rick Perry’s PAC last night.
Christie and Perry are both competing in the “pre-primary” for the 2016 GOP Presidential nomination. Both men spoke at the Iowa Freedom Summit on Saturday.
Christie is not known for saying nice things about his opponents.

Kevin Motyka, 23, of Howell Township, was indicted on Friday by a Monmouth County grand jury, according to Acting Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni.
The 17 count indictment charges Motyka with 2 counts of first degree Aggravated Sexual Assault, 7 counts of second degree Sexual Assault, 5 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child involving the manufacture and distribution of child pornography; as well as permitting a child to engage in child pornography. Motyka is also charged with 2 counts of third degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child involving sexual conduct and the possession of more than 100 items of child pornography, as well as a lone count of fourth degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child related to possession of child pornography.

Governor Chris Christie announced via twitter that the statewide travel ban for the blizzard that wasn’t will be lifted for areas south of I-195 effective at 7am.
Seastreak announced that it will provide ferry service to New York City from Highlands (which is north of I-195) at 8am.
