The Bayshore Medical Center patient who was being monitored for Coronavirus has tested negative for the bug that has disrupted the world, the NJ Department of Health announced.
The announcement means that there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in New Jersey and that there are no others being monitored.
Monmouth County Deputy Freeholder Director Sue Kiley, the liaison to the Heath Department, announced the good news on her facebook page and asked that the news be shared.

Freeholder Lillian Burry will ask her colleagues on the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders this afternoon to join the growing nationwide movement supporting the right of citizens to bear arms by declaring Monmouth a “Second Amendment Lawful Gun Owner County.”
Burry told MMM that she will introduce her resolution at the freeholders’ workshop meeting this afternoon at 1 p.m. and ask that it be added to the agenda for the regular meeting scheduled for 5 p.m.

Congressman Chris Smith, the ranking member of the House global health subcommittee, today called on Congress to immediately act on President Donald Trump’s request for emergency funding for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) and other agencies’ response to the threat from the coronavirus.

The pre-primary for the GOP nomination CD-3 has gotten ugly. Rightfully so.
David Richter, the former international construction executive who is vying for the 3rd district GOP nomination to take on Congressman Andy Kim, released an ad on facebook and youtube this afternoon that highlights his opponents’s arrest record and compares her, Kate Gibbs, to Snooki. The ad is hard hitting. Just like Andy Kim’s ads will be in October if Gibbs wins the primary on June 2.
