Freehold Raceway Mall Receives Two Bomb Threats in Three Days

The Freehold Raceway Mall was subject to two bomb threats over the holiday weekend, according to a News12 report.

On Sunday, the Marlboro Police Department transferred a caller claiming there was a bomb in the mall to Freehold. The Freehold PD and Monmouth County Sheriff’s Officers, including K-9 units responded.

On Friday, another threat was received from a caller who sounded like a child, the report said.

After being closed since March due to the COVID-19 shutdown, most stores in the mall reopened on June 29.
