Kudos to News12
News 12 televised the moving dedication of the Empty Sky Memorial of New Jersey residents who perished on September 11, 2001 this morning and early afternoon.
NJTV broadcast an episode of Sesame Street and a repeat of Caucus New Jersey.
Tell me again why the state of NJ (or any government entity) should be in the media business —-radio, TV, newspaper, etc.—- with taxpayer money.
Foolish me, I thought that kind of wasteful nonsense went out the window with the fall of the Soviet Union but unfortunately I guess I am incorrect…..
NJN, NJTV, whatever they call it these days: we’re still paying for a vanity press for politicos, party apparatchiks, Trenton ‘beltway’ insider wannabes, and well-connected liberal socialites.
Just more RINO smoke and mirrors.
Art, I’m genuinely glad you found the 9/11 memorial ceremony on News12 to be moving and inspirational. One way to show your appreciation and support is to patronize their advertisers (you know this already as a businessman & blog publisher).
But it still shouldn’t be on taxpayer-funded TV (in fact, there shouldn’t be such an entity).
