Monmouth Freeholders set to launch tourism advertising campaign

The Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders scheduled to approve a $54,000 advertising campaign to promote tourism, according to their agenda for February 13.

$19,000 is slated to be spent with NJ Advance Media, the owner of NJ.com and The Star Ledger, on a 9 month campaign and $35,000 for a four month campaign with Town Square Media, the owner of 15 radio stations in New Jersey, for a 4 month campaign.

8.6 million people visited Monmouth County, spending $2.5 billion, and the Division of Tourism desires to continue promoting the County as a vacation destination, according to the resolutions on the agenda.
