Report: Shooting Mars 4th of July Celebration in Asbury Park

A shooting that resulted in at least one injury occurred after the fireworks in Asbury Park on Thursday night, according to a report at AsburyParkSun.com
News of the incident broke in the Asbury Park facebook group. Mayor John Moor responded in the group that one person had been transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
Mayor Moor confirmed the incident in a phone interview with Asbury Park Sun. As of 6 a.m on July 5, neiter the Asbury Park Police or the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office have released information about the incident.
