Middletown Committee Officially Opposes Murphy’s Sanctuary Policies

The Middletown Township Committee officially opposed New Jersey’s status as a “Sanctuary State” for illegal aliens and pledged that the Township will never become a “Sanctuary City.”

The Committee passed resolution 19-129 on Monday night.  The resolution declares that sanctuary policies are  “harmful to the health, safety, and welfare of the residents of the Township of Middletown for numerous reasons, including but not limited to undermining law enforcement, encouraging violations of federal immigration law, and jeopardizing receipt of meaningful federal funding.”

The resolution implores the Governor and Legislature of New Jersey to focus on reducing spending and providing tax relief.

Someone has to take a stand against this lunacy and I’m damn well happy that my governing body has the guts to stand up to the looney liberal we have in Trenton! Maybe you’d be happier in one of those bastions of liberalism like Newark Camden or Trenton. I can guarantee that their governing bodies won’t “waste” their time standing up against insane left-wing policies

    but either we are a nation of laws or we are third-world. Some work, but some bring drugstore, crime, and human trafficking. We have made it too easy to come and get free stuff. Legal immigration is the only way to enhance our country. Illegal immigration is creating chaos, no assimilation to our American founding and principles, increases in diseases, and tremendous financial burdens we can’t sustain. We already have taken in the largest number in the world. We need to put resources toward our own needy citizens, first.

    Pplease provide unassailable, irrefutable and incontrovertible proof that illegal immigrants are paying more than the President in taxes. Remember, opinions don’t count.

    Illegal immigrants cost taxpayers around $135 BILLION PER YEAR after what taxes they do pay. That’s money which could be used to help our own hungry, homeless, needy, veterans, schools better pay raises for our military and yes, reduce our debt and taxes.

    So, please spare us your misplaced sympathy.
