Job Fair At Brookdale on Friday

Monmouth County’s Spring Job Fair will take place at Brookdale Community College on Friday, April 13, Freeholder Patrick Impreveduto announced.

“This is an excellent opportunity for motivated job seekers to meet with a number of potential employers, representing a great variety of industries at one time,” said Impreveduto, liaison to the Monmouth County Division of Workforce Development.

More than 140 employers and 1,ooo job seekers are expected at the event in Collins Arena which is scheduled from 10 a.m till 1 p.m. Past events have had representation from large and small organizations in healthcare, manufacturing, financial services, retail, technology, hospitality, education, and government.

The Monmouth County Workforce Development Board recommends job seekers dress professionally for the event and bring at least 20 copies of their resume.

In addition to this event, job seekers can take advantage of other county services at the One-Stop Career Center, including help with resumes, training and job search support.
