The only problem I have is that it should be rolled out gradually, with people at a certain age grandfathered in so to speak.
For example, someone one age 60 today that plans to take early Social Security at 62 for whatever reason really gets hurt if it were raised to 64 tomorrow.
So, let’s say it works for me if people age 55 had to wait till 63, people under age 55 had to wait till 64 and those 60-62 get to keep the age 62 date for early retirement; and the same applies for the regular retirement age. Stage it out so no one gets suddenly put into a position.
Nothing this man says regarding money–should be legitimately considered. CC has a long history of lying regarding any type of financial plan. Example: He lied to state government workers about their pensions and health benefits. He agreed that if they increase the funding of the two, the state in turn will contribute more into the pension system. He lied! He now is taking his own proposal to court claiming it was unconstitutional from the get-go. Why do we even have a state attorney general with a bloated staff, along with private contracted lawyers????
If you are trying to get me involved in a personal attack on Christie, I won’t bite. I have policy differences for sure, but I am not going to get into attacks calling people a liar.
All I did was comment on how I think the idea of moving back the retirement age should be implemented.
I’m tired of personal attacks. They go nowhere. Let’s deal with issues.

Just one man’s thoughts.

Jim, issues should most certainly be dealt with, but if your dealing with someone who has no credibility, and a long history of lying: LOOKOUT!
Like the old saying goes, “Credibility is like virginity; once you lose it, it’s gone forever.”
@ @Jim
All I am saying is that I am tired of personal attacks and in the next week or so, I might have an article on such an issue.

“Now There You Go Again.”
What’s living in one’s head is your ego in yours thinking you are such a big person.
And you “know not what” I am talking about. It certainly ain’t about you because I forgot about you till your head popped up out of the ground.
There’s bigger fish to fry than your sorry arse. We will see
