Still very early yet and we don’t even know who is in or not in but there could be an interesting parallel to 2012 developing. In 2012 there was a moderate (compared to other candidates) northeastern (ex) Governor (Romney) competing for the nomination against several other candidates who all tried to claim they were further right than the others. My own opinion is that on several issues, Romney went so far to the right in order to win the nomination that it cost him the votes of many moderate/independent voters in the general election. Jumping ahead to 2016 and the question would be…does Chrisite follow the same path or Romney, or just stick to his current poitions/philosphy (which have worked out pretty well for him so far?)…….

Meaningless polls, it’s way to early. Not talking about 8 years ago, but 6 years ago today we were headed towards a Clinton – Giuliani showdown and few people ahd any doubts about that

Forget about Christie. He’ll be a lame duck has-been and old news by 2016. This time next year all the attention will be on New Jersey’s freshmen in the House of Representatives, Anna Little representing the 6th district and Steve Lonegan the 3rd district. The only question is which one of them gets the most attention at the 2016 GOP National Convention. It’s a sure bet Christie will get as much attention as pork chops on Passover.
