Measely said he urged Booker to kick Congressman Frank Pallone’s ass.  Booker applauded and said he would.

Pallone was all over New Jersey, hitting Independence Day celebrations in Montclair, Long Branch, Brick , Piscataway and Perth Amboy.  Perhaps more.

In Perth Amboy, Pallone stopped for a photograph with George Washington, Mayor Wilda Diaz and Col Manly Rash Tea Party activist Gene Hoyas.

Eck being in Pennsylvania instead of NJ is really showing she is seriously campaigning for the nomination- not.

Maybe she went to the Tea Party gathering to engage support. Typical potshot from you.

Going to Philadelphia will help her enormously in NJ where she is relatively unknown outside of her circle. In Statewide contests, Tea Party candidates do not have a good track record in Republican primaries. People who identify with the TP were already successful before the was a TP ( Scott Garrett). BTPG to the contrary, Lonegan may elicit some TP support around the state, so I would think she would want to engage some NJ Republicans. You know the ones who actually vote in NJ primaries.

The Democratic Party is lucky to have 4 great candidates any one of them will beat Lonegan with his Right-Wing Agenda.

Are you sure Booker wasn’t reaching for a donation out of your wallet. Sorry, can’t shake your hand anymore either.

Oh, and bill, please get back on your 12 step program and stop parroting the Dumbocrap talking points.

Good to see the artist formerly known as Colonel Manly Rash is still around and making his presence felt. Like he did four years ago, he will be an important asset and spiritual inspiration to Mayor Lonegan’s campaign. Eck is political roadkill, and Booker will be dispatched without much sweat. Mayor Lonegan will soon be Senator Lonegan, and as he assumes leadership of the Tea Party in the US Senate we can look forward to addressing him in a few years as President Lonegan.

Why do some of you think that name calling is “the way to go”? Why can’t you make a point or give your opinion without attacking someone else. I know we have “Free Speech” (so far) but you all need to grow up! The Tea Party, in which I am a proud member) was given a bad wrap due to President Obama and his name calling and it just ‘trickled down’. Anyone who speaks against him is on his “enemy list”. Tea Partiers don’t need any help because everything we do is with respect and within our Constitutional rights. We have always been respectful and wherever we have been, we have left it clean. Most people, Dems., don’t know what we are all about because if they did, they would be also taking a stand with us. We are For the Constitution of The USA and we want government to stay out of our business (they are way too big) and we want to abolish the IRS and have a fair or flat tax (T=taxed – E=enough – A already). We love God and we stand for what He says in His Word. And people, we should all be standing for this — this is not about Democrats or Repulicans anymore — this is about fighting for our Freedoms which gives us the rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. We have had great Founding Fathers putting together our Constitution so we can live ‘Free’ and we have so many awesome privileges that other nations don’t have – after all these years, have we become blinded and lazy to the point where we don’t see them being taken away from us! Start learning to talk to each other again – learn to have a good debate with the intention of learning. Yes, we can stand by our convictions but we don’t have to hate each other. This President started the divide (some of you blinded by what he did and said to cause this) and conquer and he’s in destroy mode. Just open your eyes to the truth. If you don’t do it now, it might be too late. Do your own homework — don’t have to believe or listen to me – do your own homework. I was a Democrat all my life — not anymore. I am Conservative. I want men and women in office, whether it be Federal, State or Local – that have morals and values and believes in God. I want these people to know our Constitution and who will uphold it. I want my elected officers to know that they work for “the people” and will put no other interests above what they are to do. How about you? I could go on and on but I made my point, hopefully with respect to you.

  11. Barry said at 10:46 am on July 6th, 2013:

I wish everyone would read Article VI, paragraph 3 of the Federal Constitution plainly states there is to be no religious test for office. This is in the original constitution and has never been changed.

  12. bill said at 11:55 am on July 6th, 2013:

@Sandy Buchanan- As a proud Democrat when I give my opinion and speak for support of Barbara Buono or any Democrat I get name calling and attack for my opinion. So sorry it is not just Democrats.Yes I can respect you and your opinion. p.s I also love god.

  13. And where was our esteemed President? said at 10:08 am on July 7th, 2013:

-Africa. Did anyone see any kind of patriotic American statement from him? If there was anything, I missed it, while watching the worst Maxy’s fireworks display I ever saw: all Usher and Rihanna, etc., no national anthem or pledge, just two songs even remotely related to the actual holiday or the reason for it: folks, our culture and country are so in danger of disappearing, have no idea how far we’ve fallen in 5 years, or how we survive the next 3! ..The insults and disrespect of and for our country is so astounding, I think those of us who still care are just numb from it.. At least all of these candidates were going around looking for votes, the heart of our sadly dwindling, democratic process!

  14. Actually.... said at 8:29 pm on July 8th, 2013:

…our esteemed President and the First Lady celebrated July 4th with a barbecue for military heroes and their families on the South Lawn of the White House…not Africa. The Obamas spoke to the crowd and then spent about 10 minutes shaking hands and posing for pictures with babies dressed in red, white and blue ahead of evening fireworks on the National Mall.

As for a “patriotic statement”…hmm, oh, here it is: http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2013/07/04/weekly-address-celebrating-independence-day

    pretty “insulting” stuff.

As for our “culture”? I don’t know what to tell you. I honestly don’t care about the Macy’s NYC fireworks on TV when there were 30,000 people on the Asbury Park boardwalk watching some of the most incredible ‘works. They were nice, you should’ve gotten off the couch and taken a look outside.

  15. And you should said at 10:35 pm on July 8th, 2013:

not assume you know where or what I,or any other person with an opinion different from yours ,was doing on our nation’s birthday: the fact is, this particular first family has spent far more on themselves, on outrageous vacations, with excessive entourages of hangers-on and dozens of transported vehicles, all at our expense, in tough times for so many, than any in modern history: and don’t give the tired, lame excuse about Bush at the ranch, or Reagan, for that matter-they owned their vacation spots! If you can’t distinguish this president’s disdain for our military and this country from staged and insincere photo ops, you are part of this entire big problem, and I re-assert that we are in huge trouble!

  16. @actually, said at 10:25 am on July 9th, 2013:

fyi, today, 20 million American children are on anti- ADHD meds, 100 million Americans now are using food stamps, more unemployed than ever have gone from 2 years plus on unemployment, to permanent “disability” to stay alive, we are more disrepected around the world, and hence, less safe than ever, and you had fun at the Asbury fireworks.. glad things are fine in the lib-nirvana world..and yes, you should care, that as the camera spanned the assembled July 4th masses, all the young girls in the crowd at the Macy’s fireworks knew every word to every rap song they insulted us with, but very few sang the two patriotic songs they did finally play…go ahead and defend the indefensible: we are sick, we are broken, and we are broke.. wake the heck up and demand better!!

In response to Barry’s sarcastic remark:

The Independence Hall Tea Party has thousands of members and friends in NJ as we are a tri state, regional group encompassing the Delaware Valley media market.

Our NJ PAC members and friends helped Dr. Eck gather signatures to get on the ballot.

Nothing wrong with the good Doctor stopping by the birthplace of the United States on July 4.

No better place to be on Independence Day than Independence Hall.

We are grateful to Dr. Eck for making an appearance at our event.
