Dina’s going Long for Christie

Sea Bright Mayor Dina Long, a Democrat, will endorse Governor Chris Christie for reelection tomorrow morning at Woody’s, according to a source who doesn’t want to be known for talking to a Republican blogger.

The Christie campaign has announced a campaign event at Woody’s Ocean Grille for 11:15 am.

Long did not return a call for comment. Nor did Christie strategist Mike DuHaime.

Long’s support of the Republican governor is a set back for Monmouth Democratic Chairman Vin Gopal, one of Democratic gubernatorial presumptive nominee Senator Barbara Buono’s strongest supporters.

Should Long find herself in trouble with Gopal, Monmouth Republican Chairman John Bennett would welcome her to the GOP.

“I would welcome any caring mayor or council member, including Mayor Long, into the party,” said Bennett in a phone interview, “So long as they are working for the people and not out of a personal agenda, I will welcome them.”

Gopal did not respond to multiple messages.

@Barbara: CC has an approval rating of 93-4 among Republicans. It doesn’t get any more real than that.

I’LL REPEAT THIS EARLIER POST FOR YOU

The Problem With Conservatives Like Brian AND Barbara said at 9:18 pm on February 15th, 2013:

Is their all important litmus test. If you aren’t 110% Conservative, then the hell with you; you aren’t conservative at all.

Cow Pies Brian & Now Barbara, Cow Pies. That’s as bad as a lib living in Camelot.

What you don’t understand is the theory of progressively advancing the conservative ball down the field while keeping your elected officials as far right as possible, ESPECIALLY in a blue state like NJ.

You’re theory is as bad as Karl Rove’s idea of culling out conservative candidates. You are acting like the Communists with their little red book being waved in the air.

YES, there is the Constitution. But until enough people figure out, your my way or the highway attitude will kill our chances.

Remember the nursery rhyme about the Hare & The Turtle? Slow and steady Brian & Barbara, slow and steady.

Culling out all RINOS in NJ with one fell swoop will give you a Democrat legislature because NJ leans Blue. You just don’t get that.

There are just too many low information voters to get the conservative message out to all in one fell swoop.

So, I bet you would REALLY be torqued if you ended up with an all Democrat administration, wouldn’t you Brian & Now Barbara?

There is no room for ill equipped candidates like Badar Quarmont and now Seth Grossman who I had to recently smack down because of his ill prepared and insensitive comments about Sandy.

“I agree with Coumo 98% of the time” said no Conservative ever.
(Since you are ashamed of your true persona, not that I blame you, henceforth you will be known as @ douche)

  11. brian said at 1:30 pm on February 21st, 2013:

Looking at her, very hard to believe she’s a member of the Communist Party

  12. You see Brian said at 3:47 pm on February 21st, 2013:

You are taking a page right out of Saul Alyinski.

You are trying to personalize an argument in an attempt to demonize me, rather than answering the actual charge.

It’s not WHO I am, it’s what I am saying that is important and if you can’t answer to the basic charges, your insulting comments are just piddling in the wind as child like rubbish.

    ANSWER TO THE ISSUES Brian.

    @douche
You want to debate like an adult be an adult and stand by what you say. I don’t debate cowardly school girls.
Reviewing the Dole, McCain, and Romney Presidential records shows the last R who won the popular vote was Ronald Reagan, who fought the Progressicans.
And the we have Whitman the Progressican who started the brilliant policy of increasing pensions whilst not making contributions —and all the local progressicansvoted for it. Kinds working out like the Revel—–but You -tube got the unions to endorse him.
That’s enuff for @douche for today.

  14. Double Douch To You said at 5:59 pm on February 21st, 2013:

You like dealing in childish name calling?

You are a real ass wipe and doubled down on using a Saul Alinsky tactic to try and defend yourself.

The reason you don’t debate is because you CAN’T defend what you say. Instead, you continue to use a “strawman” childish excuse.

As to Reagan, that was centuries ago politically. That was before the MSM media turned into a political attack arm of the even more liberal Democrat Party

God Brian, you are soooooooooooo stupid. Frack you.

  15. By The Way Double Douche said at 6:07 pm on February 21st, 2013:

I worked for the campaigns of a couple very conservative presidential candidates, ran one of their operations in this state.

I actually spent A LOT of my own personal money going out of state to work their campaigns elsewhere in 2008 & 2012.

So, you have NO fracking idea who you are talking to and about. I am just a little bit more pragmatic when it comes to NJ races.

When you grow up, are more realistic, stop using childish attacks and are no longer wet behind the ears; you can begin to step into the shoes of reality
