Menendez on ABC’s ‘This Week’
U.S. Senator Bob Menendez was interviewed by ABC’s Martha Raddatz yesterday on the stations weekly Sunday morning talk show, ‘This Week.’
Raddatz, who you might remember as the moderator of the vice presidential debate between Vice President Joe Biden and Congressman Paul Ryan, asked Menendez about immigration reform Benghazi, former Senator Chuck Hagel’s nomination as Secretary of Defense and whether or not Senator Frank Lautenberg should give Newark Mayor Cory Booker a spanking.

ABC’s “This Week” is still on TV? Who knew. My TV has parental controls to protect my kids so even if we knew it was on, we’d have blacked out this slimy perv.

CRIMINAL PENALTIES: While you are traveling in The Dominican Republic, you are subject to its laws. Foreign laws and legal systems can be vastly different than our own. In some places you may be taken in for questioning if you don’t have your passport with you. In some places, it is illegal to take pictures of certain buildings. In some places driving under the influence could land you immediately in jail. These criminal penalties will vary from country to country. There are also some things that might be legal in the country you visit, but still illegal in the United States, and you can be prosecuted under U.S. law if you buy pirated goods.
Engaging in sexual conduct with children or using or disseminating child pornography in a foreign country is a crime prosecutable in the United States as well as the Dominican Republic.
If you break local laws in The Dominican Republic, your U.S. passport won’t help you avoid arrest or prosecution. It’s very important to know what’s legal and what’s not where you are going.
This clown gets to head up,of all things, the Foreign Relations committee in the Senate. How low we have sunk, and how little we expect of , and how much we excuse, our politicians! We get the government we deserve, if we don’t hold them more accountable- who do we wind up hurting? Ourselves and our kids’ futures.
