Atlantic Cinemas closes permanently

Atlantic Cinemas, the iconic local theater owned by Fred and Mickey Rast has closed for good. The Atlantic Highlands landmark had been in the Rast’s family since 1923 .

Fred told MMM that the theater had generated only $1000 in revenue since reopening with a new business model on October 15.

The one live act booked since the reopening drew only 14 people after half the act canceled due to coronavirus fears and urged fans not to attend.

I tried numerous time to get a job here…
Filled out an application a few times over the years…
Couldn’t get an interview or even get them to return a phone call….
As John Lennon once said, “Instant Karma is Gonna Get you!” (Okay since 2008 maybe it wasn’t exactly “Instant” Karma)

Gov, and all those who rule us.. it will never accurately be known, how many hard- working, tax- paying citizens’ lives have been ruined, by many of these draconian edicts, in the name of “ doing something, “ and electing/ saving their own political butts.. pardon me, am about to be sick from them all..

you are fine with more and more taxes/control. Typical NJ Dem. mentality. No surprise there. Enjoy it all, everyone doesn’t have to.

also back with baseless assumptions, stellar! The ironic part is you most likely rely on some form of government assistance which has led to this enormous sense of self-loathing that you have.

Atlantic Highlands is littered with these Monmouth County Joe Biden signs. This business has been open since 1923!
What a shame. People can make their own decisions. If you’re scared to go out then stay the f home. Pretty easy.
