Christie to keynote 2021 carwash convention
We can end the speculation that former Governor Chris Christie will try to get his old job back next year.
Christie has accepted a paid gig as the keynote speaker for the Northeast Regional Carwash Convention in Atlantic City on October 4, 2021, according to Carwash.com.
The NRCC 2021 convention is less than a month before the 2021 New Jersey gubernatorial election. Mail in voting will already be happening. The 2020 convention was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Our committee and generous sponsors think that former Governor Chris Christie will make a terrific keynote speaker,” said Show Chairman Dave DuGoff, . “His insight and political experience, as well as his ability to story tell and entertain, should be a hit.”
Brock Siebert, a Tinton Falls Councilman who manages his family’s carwash in Red Bank, Butch’s Lube and Wash, told MMM that he usually attends the convention’s exhibits but doesn’t stay for the speeches or classes. Siebert plans to stick around for Christie’s speech if he attends next year.
