Murphy to announce commercial rent relief program in Long Branch
Governor Phil Murphy will be in Long Branch on Thursday to announce a rent relief program for New Jersey businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown.
The program will be funded by federal CARES Act funds, MMM has learned.
The announcement is scheduled to take place at noon at West End Park, 607 Ocean Ave.
Attendees at the announcement will be required to adhere to social distancing protocols and wear cloth face coverings, per CDC guidance. Only credentialed members of the media will be permitted to ask questions during the Q&A session.
The event will be broadcast on the Governor’s YouTube channel.
