Murphy and Bon Jovi Dine Outdoors in Red Bank

Governor Phil Murphy, Jon Bon Jovi, their wives, First Lady Tammy Murphy and Dorothea Bongiovi, along with their sons, dined outdoors at B2 Bistro and Bar in Red Bank on Wednesday evening, RedBankGreen’s John Ward reports.

The Murphys and the Bongiovis are neighbors on the Navesink, so it is probably OK that they weren’t wearing masks. Pictures can be deceiving, but it doesn’t look as though they are sitting six feet apart.

When I asked Ward if the party was observing social distancing protocols, he said, “I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.”

Ward wrote on facebook that he doesn’t think the Governor likes it when the publisher takes his photo, which he’s done twice in the last two weeks, but that Bon Jovi doesn’t seem to mind.

John and Dorothea host their own outdoor dining, masks and all, at JBJ Soul Kitchen where they feed those struggling with food insecurity with strict house rules.

Public Heath Determines Economic Heath. Data Determines Dates.
