Seastreak Offers Free Ferry Service To Medical Workers and First Responders

Seastreak is offering free ferry service between New York City and New Jersey to all medical workers and first responders fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, the company announced today.

The ferry service provides transportation between Highlands and Atlantic Highlands to Manhattan with stops at Wall Street and E 35th Street.

The free rides for essential personnel start tomorrow, April 6, and extend until April 30, the company said in an email to its customers.

“We ask that these essential workers please show our crewmembers their government or hospital-issued identification cards while boarding to be granted complimentary access to the vessel during this time. “

The company has made an number of adjustment to their service in order to protect their riders from COVID-19. Those measures can be found here.
