Autopsy: Long Branch Shooting Was A Suicide

The shooting death of June Huhn in Long Branch on Friday has been ruled a suicide by the Middlesex County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office following an autopsy, according to Charles Webster, spokesperson for the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office.
The Middlesex County Regional Medical Examiner serves Monmouth County under a shared services agreement.
Huhn was 73 years old at the time of her death on Friday. She was the wife of former Long Branch Mayor Philip Huhn.
MMM was the first to report that June Huhn’s death was being investigated as a potential suicide.
