Physical Therapist in Manasquan Charged With Sexual Contact With Two Employees

Lukas I. DeLorenzo, 35, of Neptune Township, was charged yesterday with fourth degree Sexual Contact for illegally groping two employees under the guise of training them in physical therapy, according to an announcement by Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni.

DeLorenzo and his wife, Katherine, are the owners of Coast Rehab, a physical therapy practice with locations in Manasquan and New York City.

Beginning last September, DeLorenzo inappropriately touched and groped these employees, both at his office in Manasquan and in another location in Brielle.

The investigation is being conducted jointly by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office (MCPO) Special Victim’s Bureau, Manasquan Police Department, and Brielle Police Department.

If convicted of Sexual Contact, DeLorenzo faces a sentence on each count of up to 18 months in state prison.

Investigators are seeking additional information about DeLorenzo’s activities and are concerned about the potential for additional victims.
