McOmber named Certified Trial Attorney

R. Armen McOmber, Senior Partner of the Red Bank law firm McOmber and McOmber, has been designated a Certified Trial Attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court, according to an announcement by the firm.

The Certified Civil Trial Attorney designation is awarded to attorneys based upon experience, education, knowledge and skill in civil trial law. The standards set by the Supreme Court are high. The designation is held by only 2% of the practicing attorneys in the state. Candidates must pass a written examination and be recognized by their peers as having sufficient skills and reputation in the area of civil trial law.

The certification process was established by the Supreme Court of New Jersey in 1980 for the purpose of helping consumers find attorneys with a recognized level of competence in their particular area of law.

“I am very excited and truly honored to have been designated as a Civil Trial Attorney by the Supreme Court,” McOmber said. “I am grateful to my colleagues at McOmber & McOmber, without whom this would not have been possible.”

Mr. McOmber specializes in civil litigation, employment law, land use and education.
