Monmouth GOP releases video promoting Sue Kiley for Freeholder

The Monmouth County Republican Organization launched a social media based video campaign this morning promoting Hazlet Deputy Mayor Sue Kiley’s candidacy for Monmouth County Freeholder.

The 50 second video highlights Kiley’s family life as a mother of five and grandmother of ten, as well as her service as a Registered Nurse, Heath Care Executive, community volunteers, elected official.

“Sue Kiley is much more than an outstanding candidate,” Monmouth GOP Chairman Shaun Golden declared, “Sue is the kind of role model and leader all of us in public office should aspire to be.”

Kiley is seeking a full term as County Freeholder. Her running mate, Freeholder Gerry Scharfenberger is running to complete to term that Assemblywomn Serena DiMaso was reelected to in 2016.

Kiley and Scharfenberger maybe the strongest overall ticket the county has ever produced

to work for and get out and vote for both Republicans: there will be bullet- voting and split tickets, thanks to the renegade. In another bad year, being united to protect the county, and continue its uniqueness and prosperity, is more critical than ever. Though some stubbornly and naively seem to be turning a blind eye and deaf ear, changing demographics, and actual recent election vote totals show, our county is politically changing over- and it is up to us who care, to slow that down/ stop it. Or,we might as well be Passaic, Hudson, Middlesex, with even higher taxes, and never winning again.

Is this the same Monmouth County GOP that has consistently supported Declan O’Scanlon over the years?

Thanks to O’Scanlon and Chris Christie, another New Jersey Republican, the amount that we pay in gasoline taxes will be going up another 4.3 cents a gallon on Monday, October 1, 2018. This is on top of the 23 cents a gallon increase in the gasoline tax that was approved by the Legislature back in the fall of 2016. Declan O’Scanlon voted in support of the law that made both tax increases possible.

    @ Very Important..

There will be no bullet voting in the freeholder races this year. There is no “Vote for Two” option.

Gerry is running to keep the unexpired seat. He is facing lunging Larry.

Sue is running for the full term. She is facing young Amber, disgraceful John and a Libertarian whose name I don’t know

I hear your frustration. My big gripe, besides the usual NJ disgust at our taxes and everything else always going up, is my major grudge against Christie, for arranging for Booker to further embarrass himself, and us. And, following that logic/point, folks like the fine senator, who are basically in safe districts ( at least til the next re- group,) know they can throw in with a bad idea, because they will politically get away with it. I frankly expected better of Declan, but the Trenton temptations to keep grabbing more of our money, got ahold of him- like so many others… another gripe no one has listened to, despite several attempts to beg, is: when the hell are they gonna stop paying off bonds with the additional gas taxes, and paint the damn rusty overpasses, on the parkway??

Oh, wait, if they crack and fall apart, it’ll keep the union boys working, to finally fix them . We know we will always be adding more lanes everywhere to do so. Personally, I think the county sheriffs could organize prisoner work crews to get them painted, soon. Why not try?? Why are they confined to roadside trash- pickups??

I have heard of a couple of angry people who are only voting for John, out there in column whatever, and not for either of our Republicans.

Anyone who votes for John Curley is as bad as someone who votes for Bob Menendez. With all we know about John he is clearly unfit to hold public office. What really got me is the fact that he takes taxpayer-funded health benefits after trashing a fellow Freeholder for doing the exact same thing. When you put him side by side against Sue Kylie there is no comparison. She is the epitome of class and has a spotless record, while he has multiple complaints ranging from corruption to sexual harassment. The fact that he has sued to keep the report quiet shows that he is guilty. Why would anyone vote for more of that?
