Long Branch Man, 20, Charged In Stabbing Death Of 16 Year Old Girl

Bryan Cordero-Castro, of 4th Avenue in Long Branch, was charged with first degree Murder, third degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose and third degree Attempted Escape last night for the stabbing death of a 16 year old Long Branch girl, according to an announcement by  Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni.

Long Branch police responded to an 10:42 p.m. call reporting the stabbing at 284 Van Pelt Place, Long Branch. The juvenile victim was taken to Monmouth Medical Center where she died at 11:25 p.m.

Cordero-Castro is a U.S. citizen, according to Charles Webster, spokesman for the Prosecutor’s Office.  UPDATE:  Charles Webster, spokesperson for the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office call to sat that Cordeo-Castro is a native of Guatemala who is in the United States illegally. Webster apologized for his earlier error.

    I pray all those murders get 30 to life in prison I want justice for my son Joseph Wilson she didnt have to kill him and the same for mattie madison wells I pray that kid gets 30 years n then SEND HIM BACK TO HIS COUNTRY TO FINISH HIS LIFE SENTENCE
