Andrew Cuomo authentically expresses Democrats ethos
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo succinctly expressed his party’s view of our nation yesterday during a bill signing in NYC.
America was never that great, it isn’t great now and if they can help it, will never be great again is the message the Democrat Party elite and the comrades in the media have been trying to sell to the public since January 20, 2009 and especially so since November 8, 2016.
Since before our nation’s founding, Americans have been an aspirational people. We strive to do better. To be better, as individuals, families, communities, companies and as a country. That’s what makes America great–the desire for greatness. The aspiration of Liberty and Justice for All.
What makes America great is our recognition of our flaws and our aspiration to be better. If we were perfect, there would be nothing to strive for.
The Party of FDR–“There is nothing to fear but fear itself” and JFK —“Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country” is dead. Now the Democrat Party stands for “America was never that great” and never will be unless we surrender our liberty, and aspirations, to a big socialist government.

You aren’t that great, either: living off your father’s name in one of the most lib states. Crazy as she is, would like to see Nixon beat you.. in this divided nation filled with sore losers, they sure are letting all their true feelings spew out. Sad thing is in NY, the dopes will send him back again into office.. another state of ( expensive) self- inflicted wounds!
Great article Art. The Democrat Party of even 20 years ago does not exist anymore. Whack jobs like Maxine Waters, Phil Murphy, Jerry Brown, Nancy Pelosi, and on and on have taken over and are running the party into the ground. I know lifelong Democrats who are disgusted with the crap that today’s Democratic party stands for. Thank God Hillary lost.

Could not agree with you more. I too loathe boring, non-thinkers on the system. I much rather prefer exciting outsiders who offer up an array of hot takes, you know, something new and different.
