Pooper Man to sue Holmdel Police Department

Dr. Thomas Tramaglini, the former superintendent of schools in Kenilworth who is facing pooping charges in Holmdel municipal court next month, has informed the Holmdel Police Department that he plans to file a lawsuit against them for releasing his mug shot, according to a report on NJ.com.

The pooper man claims that Holmdel police should not have photographed him during his arrest in May because the public defecation, lewdness and litter charges are low-level municipal offenses.

“It’s like getting photographed and fingerprinted for a speeding ticket,” his attorney Matthew Adams said in an email, NJ Advance Media reported.

“On May 1, 2018, officers or agents of the Holmdel Police Department unlawfully took Dr. Tramaglini’s photograph and distributed and disseminated the ‘mug shot’ to third parties, including the media with the intent to harm Dr. Tramaglini,” according the court filing.

The tort claim lists potential damages of more than $1 million due to loss of income, harm to his reputation, emotional distress and invasion of privacy.

    Its the same as a speeding ticket….says his attorney. Public lewdness and creating a bio hazard where children are present is NOT the same as a speeding ticket. “Pooper Man” deserves the shame and publicity his acts have brought upon himself.

    Pooperman is correct. Mugshots are not public records and the request for the same should have been denied.

    Really, are you going to a doctor that does this? I’m not. The media has every right to print the truth, this is all the truth. I dont care if my doctor got a speeding ticket, but I care if he shits on a sporting field, I will stop going to him for this, how about you?
