Brookdale is where tens of thousands of our youth develop their moral compass that will guide their ethical and moral decision making for their lifetimes.

Will Dr. Stout remove Brookdale’s tribute and memorial to a public crook in the middle of his campus? Will Dr. Stout , the trustees, and freeholders care enough about our youth to remove an edifice to public corruption and official misconduct called “Larrison Hall”?

It’s insane that children are being exposed to a monument to a crook while developing their principles and standards for integrity.

Please remove “Larrison” from the “Hall”.

    Mr. Adams

Mr. Larrison never had the opportunity to clear his name. He was never convicted and unfortunately passed away before he had a chance to defend himself.

As far as Dr. Stout is concerned I do not know the man and wish him well. I would however thought the trustees could have picked a successor to Dr Murphy who had received a doctorate degree from an institution which is not considered an on-line school. On line schools serve a purpose but really are not considered in my way of thinking a path to achieving a real PhD

    Mr. Grey-
There is no doubt that Harry Larrison was a crook. He handed out county contracts to friends and family including his god son who took his place on the freeholder board.
There are plenty of hard facts that made the decision to memorialize this crook and obvious abuse of power.
Larrison was so bold as to use the County bridge inspection supervisor being paid about $100,000 per year as his personal driver.
Its just crazy to think behavior like that is not disqualifying for being memorialized especially where students are developing a sense of ethics and character.

You still are an angry, misinformed, broken record. Sorry you don’t understand that all politicians can hire those whom help them in all aspects, maybe including sometimes taking them to cancer treatments.. sorry you didn’t get whatever job you wanted. You really need to let this go, it is likely making you ill. That college would not exist today if not for that man- period. Fact.

    Mr. Grey-
I am well informed. I cited one example of official misconduct to see how you would misrepresent it as a proper thing to do.
The very idea that the County Bridge Inspector being paid about $100,000 of taxpayer money should be re-assigned by Harry Larrison to drive him around is one simple to understand example of official misconduct, and abuse of his public office.
There are dozens more, but if you can’t see this example there is no hope. I just hope you are not in government.
