but we know that sick, evil, unbalanced people will find a way, legal or illegal, to commit their nefarious acts. ( when do we consider knife control, with all these slashings ?) We are all mourning any innocents who die at the hand of any criminal. We do need to start addressing why, our children’s schools don’t all have mandated, locked doors, armed security personnel, and yes, metal detectors, at each front door. It is high time to mandate these. And, while we are at it, why are seat belts in all school buses, not mandatory, in every state??
