Job Fair At Brookdale on Friday

The Monmouth County Board of Freeholders, in partnership with the Monmouth-Ocean Development Council, Brookdale Community College, and the State of New Jersey, are hosting a job fair at Brookdale’s Lincroft campus on Friday, September 29, from 10am till 1pm, Freeholder Serena DiMaso, Esq. announced today.

“Top employers from throughout the Monmouth County area will be participating and are looking to hire qualified candidates,” said DiMaso, liaison to the County’s Division of Workforce Development. “Job fairs are one of the ways the County directly helps residents while also working to strengthen our businesses.”

More than 140 local businesses and resource organizations are participating, including Horizon Blue Cross/Blue Shield and United States Customs and Border Protection. A full list of participating employers will be posted on the county website, VisitMonmouth.com, by Thursday. Employers who would like to participate should contact Christine Dykeman at 732-683-8850 ext. 2525 or email her at [email protected]. There is no charge for employers or job hunters.

“If you are a job seeker who is unable to attend the Job Fair, you can access job and career services through the County’s One-Stop Career Center,” said DiMaso. “The One-Stop Center provides resources, career counseling and training to people looking to find new employment no matter what the reason.”

The Monmouth County One-Stop Career Center is located at 17 Christopher Way in Eatontown. The office hours are weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
