Sandy was a very trying time for Monmouth County. Instead of photo ops with the President and riding over the ruins and taking they should have been dropping bags of money the next day. Instead of conflicting rules and regs and red tape They should have brought in pallets of money like they did for Iran.
Freeholder Curley did what he had to do to get some attention for Monmouth and it worked.
By the way, the Monmouth County Freeholders and Lt. Governor Guadagno were very responsive and helpful during this period. They really helped Monmouth get back on her feet.
Sadly there are too many houses that stand pretty much like they were the day after Sandy.
