we all get serious about stopping gang violence, drug cartels, and neighbor-on-neighbor crime, and start to admit that the destruction of the father-led family via the welfare continuim has ruined our inner-city neighborhoods, these sad results will continue. A system that excuses and rewards bad behavior and no personal responsibility for one’s actions, is doomed to eventually dry up and fail. It’s obvious that throwing more program money at the problems has failed: a more firm hand, less repeat chances, and more encouragement toward employment and the nuclear family is needed, ASAP.
