PNC Arts Center Shooting Update
Two people were shot in Lot 4 of of the PNC Arts Center in Holmdel at 11:14 pm last night, according to the New Jersey State Police.
Both victims transported via Medvac helicopter to Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune where they are in critical but stable condition. Reports that one of the victims had died last night are inaccurate.
The search for the shooter who fled into a wooded area is continuing . The State Police are asking that anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information to contact NJSP Detectives at 732-441-4550.
In other news, the Monmouth County Prosecutors office is once again pretending that their gun buyback program in Asbury Park and Keansburg helped to get guns “off of the street” and “out of the hands of criminals”. As usual, they tell half-truths and ignore the real problems in those communities.
The Monmouth County Prosecutors office should focus on getting criminals off of the street. Instead of offering $200 for an “assault weapon”, the Monmouth County Prosecutors office should try offering $200 to the responsible public to turn criminals who assault people in.
and amen again.
Couldn’t have happened in a nicer town.
