LUNCH & LEARN at Noon with the American Littoral Society
Join the Littoral Society for a screening of
Shellshocked: Saving Oysters to Save Ourselves,
an award winning documentary by Emily V. Driscoll,
that follows efforts to bring wild oysters back to NY Harbor
to restore the waterways.
It takes place at Langosta Lounge in Asbury Park
Tickets are $30, which includes a delicious lunch

Today is the last day to take the kids to see not one, but
two Puppet Plays at 1:00 PM at Paper Moon Puppet Theatre
in Atlantic Highlands
THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS AND THE EMPEROR’S NEW CLOTHES

THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS features Chester, the dog,
a little mouse with a special Christmas wish and, of course, Santa Claus.
THE EMPEROR’S NEW CLOTHES, features the famous poem by
Hans Christian Andersen The story of the vain emperor who learns that what is inside is more important than what is on the outside.
All seats are $10.00, Reservations are suggested
Don’t miss THE LEGEND OF LA BEFANA an exciting cultural event for
children and adults alike!
The legend of La Befana is about a good witch who, while
searching for the Christ Child.
Held at St. Mary’s Parish Center at 1PM with a Cost of $10 for
children (ages 3 – 10),and $15 for adults Registration is Required
Price includes the performance ,delicious Italian food, coffee, tea, complimentary wine, baked goods and a goody bag.
Also featured is an Auction Table, a 50/50, and Italian music!Hosted by the Italian American Association of Monmouth County
You can head to Red Bank and SING-ALONG with the WIZARD OF OZ
at 2:00 PM inside the magnificent Count Basie Theatre
Tickets are $15 or FREE with a Count Basie Theatre Cinema Society Membership. Sing along to the classic 1939 film , Come dressed as your favorite character and be a part of the costume parade on the Basie stage

Last but not least tonight is the first night of
THE COMPLETE WORKS OF SHAKESPEARE at the First Avenue
Playhouse in Atlantic Highlands,
Tickets are $22 , Reservations Required.
Includes dessert and hot and/or cold beverages
Three inept actors attempt to perform all 37 of Shakespeare’s plays –
including Hamlet, Romeo & Juliet, Titus & Andronicus and all those
other ones in a mere 90 minutes! The results are both hilarious and horrifying.
