Bayshore Tea Party Candidates for Legislature in LD 13

Former Congressional candidate Leigh-Ann Bellew of Union Beach filed petitions to run for the Republican nomination for State Senate in the 13th legislative district this afternoon.  Her petitions included 154 signature.  Bellew is attempting to unseat incumbent State Senator Joe Kyrillos.

Edna Walsh of Middletown and Stephen Boracchia of Atlantic Highlands are challenging incumbent Assembly members Amy Handlin and Declan O’Scanlon for the Republican nominations to be decided in the June 4 primary election.

The 13th district challengers and the county candidates for Sheriff and Freeholder are running together under the slogan Republicans for Conservative Leadership.

Monmouth is not the only county in NJ where the GOP is facing a primary challenge from the right. Burlington County’s West Jersey Tea Party also fielded a full slate. Morris County’s Morris Patriots fielded three freeholder candidates. There are challengers in several other counties and for all elected offices including state committee. This seems to be a signal to to the NJGOP that conservatives are not happy with establishment leadership and have taken strategic aim to make a charge in an off-year primary where turnout is low and tea party grassroots mobilization makes a difference. What’s going to be interesting to see is where the NJGOP focuses its counterattack, since there are challenges literally from end to end across the state.
More than one constitutionally-minded Democrat also has filed as a primary challenger. At least two of those are focusing on gun freedom; of the more than 1 million gun owners in New Jersey, a goodly number are Democrats who are not happy with the current ridiculous gun-control antics in Trenton.

Freedom is on the march and Tea Party Approved, Constitutionally Certified GOP candidate for Governor Seth Grossman is leading the way. Seth is leading Tea Party tickets in several counties however, unfortunately, Monmouth County does not seem to be one of them. This is very sad and discouraging, but hopefully the Bayshore Tea Party will see the light and join with Seth Grossman to restore liberty and prosperity to New Jersey.

@Monmouth girl: Laugh now but you won’t be laughing in June when Tea Party Patriots led by Tea Party Approved and Constitutionally Certified GOP candidate for Governor Seth Grossman sweep the RINOs out of office and restore liberty and prosperity to New Jersey.

I think I will be sorry for asking this but.. what exactly does Constitutionally certified mean? Certifiied by who, by what authority or expertise? Is it the US Constitutution or some other document? I never hear anyone from the Tea Party write about the clause in Article VI that there be no religious test for office. They seem fixated on 2 amendments without even knowing there is a basic document underpinning those amendments.

Barry? Constitutionally certified simply means, be when a group of people think that someone “such as a candidate looking to represent the people have just a but more awareness of the constitution and it’s intent than the average person. Not to leave out the part about defending it. What ever in the world are you referring to when talking about religion? One can only assume your under some wrongful notion that one would have to be of a certain religion. As Rush Limbaugh would say “Under Informed Voter”.

  11. Barry said at 8:09 am on April 3rd, 2013:

So you admit there is nothing to the phrase Constitutionally certified. It is just at the whim of the people who state the phrase. I doubt you really know what is in the U.S. Constitution. You seem to be reading from the Articles of Conferderation.

This is interesting. Wild mood swings are not good Babs. I wonder if Babs is actually Helene, going back and forth like Babs does below:

For months the “leader” of the Bayshore Tea Party Group spent an inordinate amount of time bashing and trampling down any Ron Paul supporters in their “membership”. She regularly castigated Congressman Paul every chance she had. While some of her “membership” tolerated this behavior, many were not happy and several no longer associate with the Bayshore Tea Party. This is interesting because earlier this week, like third world despotic dictators and cult leaders, she appears to have radically changed her mind and is entertaining the idea of endorsing Congressman Ron Paul.

Earlier this year, on February 1, 2012 she was an ardent supporter of conservative State Senator Joe Kyrillos in his bid to unseat liberal Senator Bob Menendez. She attended his campaign announcement and kickoff event in Middletown to support Kyrillos and is quoted in the Newark Star-Ledger “I feel that Joe has the best chance of beating Menendez.
