Bayshore Tea Party’s Write In Campaign For Monmouth GOP Chair

Bayshore Tea Party Group Founder Barbara Gonzalez is asking her members who are also members of the Monmouth County Republican Committee to vote for her fellow group founder, Bob Gordon as Monmouth GOP Chair:

Hi Friends,
 
You know, sometimes I just sit here thinking and a thought comes to me and I decide to share it with you guys. 
 
The thought for tonight?  Well, this will get around and I will make some people mad, but we are in a very bad place right now and there is no time to hold back.
 
Okay, okay…the thought…….
 
Many of you are on the County Committee and the GOP has sent out their anointment letter for Christine Hanlon and then there is Bennett whom some say is no good….well a certain Freeholder who I won’t mention without permission suggested not voting for either. 
 
Here is my thought…..If it were me, I would write in Robert Gordon!! 
 
He does not know I am doing this and he will kill me, but I can tell you there is no finer man (other than Joey Abbs! ) to run for the County Chair. 
 
I have nothing against Christine Hanlon or Mr. Bennett, but if I had to think of the one person I would want to fill that spot, it would be Bob Gordon. 
 
So, if you like what my thought was….write in Robert Gordon for Chairman of the Monmouth County Committee…..then come and save me from Bob, the GOP, CNJ, MMM, CWA, the left, the right, the middle….etc, etc.

    If there was anyone not convinced that she has completely lost it, this should be the final straw. A classic case of paranoia combined with a major persecution complex. This kind of crazy talk only feeds into the liberals claims that the Tea Party are a bunch of whackos. I was with them from the beginning, but like many others, will never go near them or their loony bin HQ on Rt. 35. It seems that the more members she loses, the crazier and more defiant she acts. Way to destroy a once great organization Barbara.

    Is there a strategy here? Hold back support and try to force a second round of voting to then claim the TP annointed the new Chariman?

    That is contingent on there being a 50% plus one rule to win the selection, and that either candidate does not have that number after one ballot.

    This comment is directed at both the D’s & the R’s……….After reading all of the back and forth accusations, maybe its about time that County Chairpersons are people who are not receiving any public money either as paid emplyees or as professionals. Would be interesting to see who wanted the positions than.

    a joke. Bob Gordon hasn’t lifted a finger to do anything as a county committeeman and this nut wants him to take charge of the whole county??? It is frightening that someone who fancies herself such a political mover and shaker hasn’t learned anything about how to build alliances or even how the political process works. She is going backwards – instead of learning, it seems as if she is getting less and less knowledgeable by the day. What do you expect though, from someone who picks Bader Quarmot to go up against Bob Menendez? Cuckoo, cuckoo, cuckoo!!!!!

    Although I am pleased with your passion for politics, you are more often than not way off target and it is so obvious that you either don’t know how to play the political game or just don’t care if anyone thinks your brain is attached to your mouth.
